The Intention: A Network of Connection

While these 49 panels are currently displayed as a single, unified grid, their true purpose begins when they are separated.

Each panel is designed to be sold individually.

When you take a piece of Rooted Connections into your home, you are holding one part of a larger story. Your panel will have "siblings" scattered across different homes, cities, and perhaps even countries.

Even though a panel may be physically separated from its creator and its original grid, it is never truly alone. It remains forever linked to the other 48 pieces through the shared pattern, the golden thread, and the hearts at every corner. Owning a piece of this series is a reminder that you, too, are part of a vast, invisible network of authentic connection.

The Birth of Rooted Connections

This project began at a profound crossroads. In early 2025, upon learning that my kidney disease had progressed to Stage 4, I was forced to look inward. While my career in the mortgage industry provided value, I realised I had been neglecting my creative soul. This is apart of me that truly supports my well-being and offers a sense of purpose beyond the daily grind.

Through a deep-dive program called You The Artist, I stripped away the noise to answer one question: Why am I alive and what is my purpose?

It was in that space of vulnerability that my purpose became clear: To heal relationships and create authentic connections. Rooted Connections is the direct fulfillment of that mission. Every panel in this 49-piece series was born from that moment of clarity.

Rooted Connections: The Book

This companion book is more than a gallery of the 49-panel series. It is an invitation to deeper relationship. Designed as a catalyst for meaningful change, Rooted Connections offers reflections and invitations to help you foster authentic connections and nurture the bonds that matter most in your life.

It is a space for both internal discovery and outward action, reminding us that we are all made of the same thread and are never truly alone.
