This is part of the What We Are Made Of exhibition which is taking place in August 2026.

Rooted Connections Project

Rooted Connections is a contemporary art series by UK artist Anna Legaspi, featuring 49 hand-painted panels layered with intricate black and white layers with gold accents. This mixed-media installation explores authentic connection and belonging, born from Anna's personal journey with chronic illness."

In this world where loneliness has become an epidemic, my art acts as a reminder that in our heart of hearts, we all belong. We are all cut from the same cloth and made of the same thread, and in our shared imperfection, we are never truly alone. We are all authentically connected to each other.
